Accessibility statement
The project works on accessible education infrastructure. A website that failed at this would be hard to explain.
Scope
This statement applies to the website of the HARMONI project in all three language versions (German, French, English).
We endeavour to make the website accessible in line with the applicable accessibility provisions. The benchmark is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at conformance level AA and the European standard EN 301 549.
Compliance status
The website is partially compliant with the requirements named above. The content listed below is not, or not fully, accessible for the reasons given.
Non-accessible content
- No audit by an accredited body. This statement is based on a self-assessment. As soon as an external audit report is available, the status will be updated here.
- Reports and white paper as PDF. Project results will be published as PDF over the course of the project. Accessible PDF documents are the goal but cannot be guaranteed for every file supplied by third parties. If you need a document in an accessible form, write to us – we will provide it.
- Interreg logo. The programme logo exists only as a raster image and is used unchanged, because modifying it is prohibited under the programme’s rules. It carries alternative text.
- Partner logos. Their height is tightly limited by the programme’s rules. Their information is available as alternative text, and the partners are additionally named in the text.
- The Robot Compass is still being built and will be a separate platform. This statement does not cover it; it will get its own.
What is in place
- Full keyboard operation, with a visible focus indicator and a skip link to the content.
- Contrasts checked throughout: body text well above the requirement, borders and rules above 3:1.
- A real heading hierarchy, landmarks and language markup; language changes in the switcher are marked up individually.
- No content that is only reachable with JavaScript. Without JavaScript the navigation stays fully visible.
- No motion, no automatic changes, no time limits.
- Text size in relative units, layout usable up to 400 % zoom.
